FAQs
What material is the cabin made of?
The outer shell of our cabins is made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic). This high-quality composite material combines glass fibers with a special plastic matrix and offers decisive advantages: The lightweight construction keeps the overall weight of the vehicle below 3.5 t, while the material also ensures outstanding strength and stability.
GRP is highly weather-resistant, does not rust and is protected against UV radiation and temperature extremes - ideal for overland travel in a wide range of climates. The natural insulating properties improve living comfort in all weathers.
Particularly practical is the ease of care with minimal maintenance and simple repair options. Last but not least, GRP impresses with its durability, as it retains its outstanding properties over many years - for lasting driving pleasure with your Auriga Explorer.
Which base vehicles can I choose from?
We produce the Auriga Explorer on the basis of the Ford Ranger and VW Amarok. Please contact us for other models.
How many berths does the Auriga Explorer offer?
Our vehicle offers flexible sleeping options for up to four people. There are two standard sleeping berths in the alcove, which can be folded up independently of each other. The two additional sleeping berths, which can be created by simply converting the seating group in the rear of the vehicle, provide additional sleeping comfort.
Where are the vehicles produced?
The Auriga Explorer is manufactured and assembled in Germany.
Can the Auriga Explorer be shipped by container?
